In the series Elementals (2017), I explore imagined human forms in the natural world. These digital composites combine two layers of imagery: close-up views of organic patterns and surfaces with details of carved headstones from cemeteries.
Liber Lux is a collection of light podiums, each displaying a resin book. Each book represents the consolidation and dissemination of knowledge. This knowledge is my own curiosity and observation of the world around me put forth in a visual fashion. The podiums are meant to put the viewer in the position of power and understanding, similar to an oral presentation or lecture. The knowledge contained in books is only revealed when it interacts with the mind of the reader, or viewer.
